I have been dealing for over 20 years with a mother, diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic with bipolar illness -- what they call here "schizoaffective". Support for families seems almost non-existent here in North America. I would love to find a counsellor for myself who is experienced in dealing with adult children of the mentally ill.
